Rey Tuazon

In 1993, with the support of his wife and participation of a few friends, Mr. Tuazon, a professional architect, founded the Filipino Children’s Foundation, realizing his childhood dream of helping the poor children of his native country. He credits the passion shared by FCF’s officers, volunteers and donors for the success of the foundation.
Linda Weaver
Vice President

Ms. Weaver joined FCF in 1995 as an advisor and was elected to the Board of Directors in 1998. She got involved with the organization because “it is my desire to help the needy children in any way I can.” Ms. Weaver is a loan administrator with IndyMac Bank.
Epsie Torres

"God continues to work through us to reach out and respond to others in need. Our support is a visible expression of our love of God and love of neighbor. The material, moral and spiritual support provide these children with hope for the future." Epsie is a senior project manager for a healthcare organization.
Luis “JOJO” Fuentes
Luis “JOJO” Fuentes joined the FCF Advisory Board in 2009 and got elected as Secretary in 2011. He strongly believes that in sharing one, some, or all of the 3 Ts (TIME, TALENT, and TREASURE) we can shape positive change. Jojo supports FCF’s policy of minimum operating expense and zero administrative cost - the organization is fueled and sustained by pure volunteerism and sheer passion of its members. Jojo works for Nestle USA and has 3 beautiful children - Luis, Rhea, and Marc.
Luisa Balza
Luisa is an executive consultant to Global Asian-Latino Expo and the Vocational Nursing Program. She is actively involved in charity work and has this to say about FCF - " I joined the Filipino Children's Foundation because I share its commitment and continued effort to help the street children of the Philippines"
Hazel Santos Mayuyu

Inspired by the mission and work of the Filipino Children’s Foundation, Ms. Mayayu joined FCF in 2004, with aspirations of reaching out and giving back to the disadvantaged children in the Philippines. Ms. Mayayu is a certified public acountant.
Rosie Nazareno

A well know figure in the Los Angeles Filipino community, Ms. Nazareno has been with the Filipino Children’s Foundation since its founding in 1993. Her frequent visits to the Philippines have provided the organization with first hand accounts of its beneficiaries’ activities.

Thelma Salaya

Ms. Salaya joined FCF as a volunteer in 2012 and was elected to the Advisory Board in 2013. She believes that it is everyone's responsibility to deliver much needed aid for the disadvantaged Filipino children. Ms. Salaya works at the City of Glendale.
