Volunteers & Donors
Ms. Tuazon is married to FCF founder Rey Tuazon and is one of the authors of the corporation’s bylaws. Always willing to help the needy, she has a soft spot for the impoverished children of the Philippines. In her most recent visit there, she distributed Christmas gifts to the children.
In their frequent visits to the Philippines, Mr. and Mrs. Cavestany have always taken the time to visit the charities supported by the foundation. Their passion for helping those in need, materially and spiritually, is boundless. In retirement, they plan to continue their volunteer work.
Mr. and Mrs. Dixon are devout Christians who have always given generously to children’s causes. They have been major benefactors of the foundation since 1995. The retired couple split their time between church and family, which includes a few grandchildren.
The Filipino Children’s Foundation is an entity very close to my heart. As a mother of three beautiful children, I feel deeply that no child should ever go hungry physically and emotionally. The outstanding work that FCF performs, ensures that the children under its roof have the help needed for their continued well-being. I pledge to support this good deed for as long as possible.
I was raised in the Philippines’ metropolitan areas. I’ve seen rampant poverty among children, from toddlers to young juveniles - many of them had to rummage garbage dumps in search of food. Four years ago I was introduced to Filipino Children’s Foundation and I learned that it is an organization whose mission mirrors my own empathy for children in need. Since then I have been an active volunteer.
